Hi, my name is Ruth (but you can call me Ru).

Let’s get to know each other

I'm a 25 year old Canadian writer and a not-so-recent graduate from Ryerson University’s English (Honours) program.

My superpower? I’m a creative powerhouse. I have vision and I’m pretty passionate about getting it out into the world.

I’ve been copywriting professionally for 3 years, but I’ve been a writer all my life.

When I’m not working (which is not often, I love my work and I love my clients), you can find me tucked away in my library; nose in book, cat in lap, and glass of wine in hand.

My favourite colour is glitter. Or all of them. All of them is my favourite colour.

If I wasn’t a writer (which is too sad of a fate to actually consider, let’s move on quickly, please), I’d be a florist. Or a professional sky diver. Or a princess. One of those. Or all of them. Probably all of them.

My favourite place to be is outside. Scotland is preferable, but any outside will do just fine.

I’m a Gemini (a little summer solstice baby) and that is mighty obvious.

I am a defender of Oxford comma rights. I will hear no arguments against it.
